INSURANCE AND TAX INFORMATION

What is the total cost the venue is charging you per attendee for goods and/or services provided at your event? Some examples of goods/services include meals, event tickets/registrations, and merchandise.*

We ask this question in order to be able to provide accurate gift acknowledgements for your event. If your participants receive a benefit from their event registration, only the amount that is greater than the cost of the goods/services received can be considered a charitable donation. Use the amount that the venue will be charging you per person to determine this figure. For example, if you are having a golf outing and charging golfers $100 to participate and the golf course usually charges players $65, the goods and services amount is $65 and the charitable amount is $35.

If you do not have insurance, NP can help to provide coverage for your event. Please note, all events held on behalf of NP funds are required to have insurance.
